At present, more and more LED displays are entering the interior, especially large hotels and large supermarkets are favored by advertisers. So what are the requirements for large-scale hotels using indoor full-color LED displays?
In an indoor environment, there are three main choices for a full-color display with an area of more than 5 square meters: LED display, DLP (digital LCD rear projection) and normal rear projection.
The advantage of the LED display is that it has high brightness and no seams. The disadvantage is that the pixel particles are thicker and have lower resolution. Currently, commercial indoor full color LED displays have a density of P4, which is 62,500 pixels per square meter. The LED display is suitable for viewing indoor locations in the distance.
When choosing a hotel’s full-color LED display, the following aspects are mainly considered.
1, density. Since the indoor full-color LED chip generates a large amount of heat and the control circuit has a high density, the dot density of the commercial full-color screen cannot be improved.
2, the driving method. The indoor full-color LED display is driven by a constant current drive, using dynamic scanning (mainly 1 / 4, 1 / 8, 1 / 16, etc.). In the case of the same chip, the 1/4 scan circuit needs more and the brightness is higher.
3, the mold. A good chip ensures the quality of the LED.
4, the form of packaging. The LED surface of the indoor LED display has a single light, a sub-surface sticker, a three-ply single-sided sticker and a three-in-one surface sticker, and the appearance is different. The advantages of surface mount package are large viewing angle, good light emission consistency and easy automatic soldering processing. It is the mainstream product of full-color LED screen, but now the price is relatively high; the viewing angle of single lamp is relatively small, the brightness is slightly higher, and the price is lower. The subsurface sticker is actually a single light. Single and secondary stickers are cheaper and are a transitional product.
5, real pixels and virtual pixels. Like outdoor full-color LED displays, the number of pixels in an indoor full-color screen is also divided into real and virtual pixels.
Rear projection and plasma displays are suitable for close-up viewing.
The advantages of the rear projection display are small pixel points and high definition. The disadvantages are low brightness, low viewing angle and short lens life (only a few thousand hours). Plasma splicing also has the advantage of small pixel points and high definition. The downside is that there are seams. Currently, the smallest seam can reach 1mm.
